Target audience:

This course is designed for operative employees – qualified workers, mounters, partially qualified workers, etc.

The aim of the course:

VCA is short for ‘Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors’ (Veiligheids Checklist Aannemers in Dutch). The purpose of this official checklist is to make sure everyone works in a safe manner.

Course content:

  • SHE legislation
  • Risk assessment and evaluation
  • Accidents, causes, prevention, reporting
  • Safe behavior
  • SHE organization at company level, requirements for activities and work places
  • Emergency measures
  • Hazardous substances, fire protection and explosion prevention
  • Work equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Working procedures
  • Electricity and radiation
  • Exam

* Examination in Latvia is held upon request (if the number of students exceeds 7 people)
