Measuring and testing of electrical devices

Target audience:

The course is designed for professional electricians who install and operate with the electrical installations and equipment and are obliged to test them according to VDE and DGUV.

The aim of the course:

The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about the correct measurement procedures and control methods, applied in Germany. The theoretical and practical knowledge gained during this course ensures a higher quality of the performed measurements and a secure operation process.

Course content:

• Relevant personnel qualification, undergoing an inspection
• Inspection performed by an appropriate specialist
• Safety requirements according to DGUV
• Drawing up protocols of inspection
• Work with the software
• Inspection devices measuring according to VDE
• Practical measurements on electrical installations and equipment
• Tracing the faults
• Specialised measurements (insulation resistance testing, loop “phase-neutral” resistance and earth resistance measurements)
