Shadow day 2024 at IQTC

Shadow day 2024 at IQTC
05.04.2024

The Shadow Day is an annual career education event in Latvia. This year, we were followed by “shadows” too. They were so serious, attentive, and diligent. Who knows, maybe someday they will be able to take over “bodies.”

Young people learn rope access technics

Now that they are 15 or 16 years old, their only motivation is a basic curiosity about an unusual thing to do. The chance to scale heights intrigues them much. And this is the aspect of the profession that is romantic. However, there is also a practical one, which is the pay scale for technicians in different industries who are skilled in rope access.

Studying rope access

As we may monitor, industrial rope access technicians can come from various age groups, as the profession doesn’t necessarily have strict age requirements. Typically, individuals in this field range from their twenties to fifties, with some outliers younger or older. The age distribution may vary depending on factors such as industry demand, training availability, and career trajectories.
