IQTC – the first training center in Baltic states to provide GWO ART
IQTC Training Center has successfully passed the Advanced Rescue Training (ART) course audit thus becoming the first training center in Baltic states that provides GWO ART module training.
According to GWO, this standard controls the risks associated with rescue operations, ensuring a more efficient rescue operation from a wind turbine. The training elevates rescuer self-reliance and enables successful transport of a colleague who cannot self-evacuate, to an assembly point until professional emergency responders arrive. The modules teach entry-type casualty rescue operations in a turbine using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at heights. The standard consists of two main modules and a single rescuer version of each.
First training will take place on Kurzemes prospect 3D in IQTC training facilities and will start on 26th of March.
