IQTC welcomed the GWO working group to Riga
26.09.2022

The IQTC welcomed the GWO working group to Riga on August 15th. The focus was on the IQT standard. Abbreviation – I – Instructor Q – Qualification T – Training taken for the new standard echoes similar to IQTC. Is it coincidence? Or maybe it is a quality assurance sign? 😉

These days were hot, and not only because of the weather. The hard and detailed work on the standard aims and objectives, taxonomy levels, didactics, and much more was the topic of stormy discussions.

The working group is represented by companies – GWO, Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, Enercon, Vattenfall, RelyOnNutec, Total HSE, Wright training, SP-Wind and of course IQTC Management. We are ecstatic that nearly all continents are represented in the debates, thus ensuring that diverse perspectives and needs are taken into account to keep the wheels running.

P.S. Oh, you will likely wonder why we are just now releasing this news. No, it is not due to a lack of manpower, laziness, or any other reason other than the fact that we pledged to keep it a secret until a very significant occasion for a working group member, who wanted to make a surprise for his friends. Guess what? We are loyal. 🙂
