Adult non-formal education institution “Training Center IQTC” is an educational institution registered in Latvia that provides a wide range of training for people working in the renewable energy sector. The training center is the exclusive and authorized training partner of TÜV Rheinland Akademie in the Baltic States.
The training center is a Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certified training provider in Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), Slinger Signaller (SLS), Advanced Rescue Training (ART), Enhanced First Aid (EFA) and Blade Repair (BR) courses.
IQTC is the first training center in the Baltics to offer GWO’s Wind Limited Access (WLA) courses.
IQTC is authorized by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), which can provide internationally recognized training and certification in the field of rope access.
The organization of training processes and the training of specialists in the field of qualification improvement are certified as compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and accredited according to the regulations of the Safety Checklist Contractors (SCC).
The mission of the “IQTC” is to prepare high-class professionals according to European standards, in the renewable energy sector by providing in-depth theoretical knowledge, practical skills and competences in real-life work situations.
Thanks to strong collaboration with international partners and local companies, our training center delivers specialized programs aimed at building the knowledge, skills, and competencies essential for careers in the renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on wind power.
Our study programs follow a modular education system, offering flexibility and customization for professionals from diverse backgrounds. Each training module can be tailored to meet specific industry requirements and individual learning goals—especially those related to onshore and offshore wind energy technologies.
We offer training aligned with internationally recognized certifications, including Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards for safety and technical training that emphasize practical, industry-relevant skills. These certifications are widely respected across the wind energy sector and enhance employability in both European and global markets.
Our instructors are seasoned professionals from the wind energy industry, bringing a wealth of hands-on experience and academic expertise to the classroom.
The pedagogical skills of the trainers have also been acquired at the globally recognized German professional training institution – TÜV Rheinland Akademie – where modern teaching methods have been learned and tested.
