Control of Hazardous Energy (CoHE) training is based on risk assessments, in-depth descriptions of job roles and tasks relevant to CoHE in the wind industry as well as factual incident and accident statistics pertaining to the installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of wind turbine generators and wind power plants.
The aim of the course:
The training enables participants to manage the risks associated with hazardous energies in the wind industry and to act safely when in the vicinity of hazardous energies or working with systems and equipment containing hazardous energies. After the training, participants are able to carry out the assigned tasks safely and, if necessary, to seek and apply the necessary information on their own initiative.
The training provides appropriate theoretical knowledge and practical skills, but does not confer a qualification.
All staff participating in the GWO CoHE training modules must be medically fit and able to participate fully.
