GWO COHE Electrical Safety Module (ES)

Target audience:

This module is targeted at candidates whose scope of work will involve performing isolations and testing for the absence of voltage (in accordance with existing documentation) to be able to carry out specific tasks—component replacement, servicing safely, and planned corrective maintenance on low-voltage electrical systems.

This person will also be responsible for establishing electrically safe work conditions to enable others to work safely on low-voltage electrical systems.

The aim of the course:

The aim of this module is to enable the participants to support and care for themselves and others while working with and in the vicinity of electricity in the wind industry and to perform assigned electrical work tasks safely and efficiently.

After completing GWO’s Electrical Safety Module, participants will be able to do electrical work safely in the wind industry by using electrical PPE, precautionary techniques, and electrical safety safe working practices to reduce the risks associated with electrical hazards.

Participants should already possess appropriate technical knowledge, skills, and abilities before attending the module.
