Increasing demand for energy and soaring prices for conventional energy resources has stimulated the development of new forms of energy from renewable sources. So new infrastructure and technologies for electrical energy production are being developed in different ways.

In cooperation with TÜV Rheinland, IQTC provides comprehensive services in the field of renewable energies (wind and solar energy) — from training technical staff in the maintenance of renewable energy systems to technical support and relevant testing.

We train technical staff in the following areas:

Inspection, repair and maintenance of wind turbine rotor blades

Target audience:

This course is meant for everyone who intends to work in the industry of the alternative energy supply, particularly – the wind power supply, and for everyone who intends to specialize in the maintenance and service of the wind rotor blades.

The aim of the course:

To prepare fully trained and qualified specialists in wind turbine rotor blade inspection, repair and maintenance. To acquire the methods of inspection and repair of constructions made of composite materials on the basis of the polymer matrix.

Course content:

  • Manufacturing technology of the wind turbine rotor blades
  • Maintenance and classification of the used materials
  • The technologies and materials used in performing the repair work
  • The necessary safety measures, while organizing the work
  • Working at height
  • The use of the individual safety equipment, the operation of the safety
    devices, the cooperation and the actions to take in response to emergency
    situations
  • Electrical safety for non-electrotechnical personnel (EuP)

Wind turbine maintenance specialist (Module 1)

Target audience:

This course is designed for all of those who intend to work in the field of renewable energy and in the field of wind energy in particular and who wish to acquire the speciality “Wind turbine maintenance specialist”.

The aim of the course:

To provide the course participants with all the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to carry out wind turbine maintenance works. The study process involves learning about the constructions, basic components and systems of the wind turbines, safety rules and measures, electrical circuits and electrical measuring devices.

  • Introduction to the alternative energy. Wind energy: its history, current
    situation and development prospects
  • EU legal regulations, norms and standards concerning the field of wind
    energy
  • Principal structure of the wind turbine
  • Safety rules and measures
  • Basic wind turbine systems

Testing your systems

Together with our partner TÜV Rheinland, we can conduct relevant tests of your renewable energy systems and make recommendations to ensure that equipment complies with all the applicable international standards.

Any tests conducted for companies in the energy sector shall meet the adopted standards of energy efficiency. Certification in the energy sector includes:

  • compliance with international standards and verification that the company has implemented the relevant management systems;
  • ability to use completely eco-friendly, “green” programmes.
